Pa Cyber Students

Middle school students apply the foundational and fundamental skills from their early grades to more challenging core content. They will also explore additional electives including technology, art and music, career readiness, and foreign languages.

Our middle school students continue to integrate the executive functioning skills they developed in the elementary grades. Now, the emphasis is on decision-making, prioritizing, planning, and persevering as they prepare for high school.

Virtual Classroom (VC)

PA Cyber conducts real-time classes with Pennsylvania-certified teachers through our Virtual Classroom (VC). Virtual classes are available to students in grades 1-12.

Virtual Classroom students can interact with their teachers and classmates each day. The Virtual Classroom follows a traditional school year calendar, typically beginning in August and ending in June. Daily lessons include discussions, videos, and other activities. Homework will be assigned to reinforce the concepts presented in class. All core subject area courses meet five days per week, while elective courses meet on varying days. The scheduling of VC courses is flexible; however, student attendance is required.

Blended Classroom (BC)

The Blended Classroom (BC) is a flexible option that delivers a consistent and structured learning experience for all students in grades K–12. This model combines the freedom of asynchronous learning with the benefits of optional, live teacher-led instruction from Pennsylvania-certified teachers. Live sessions, available three (3) days per week, are highly recommended, offering interactive learning opportunities and personalized support that reinforces content and promotes academic progress.

This hybrid approach empowers students to work at their own pace while still maintaining steady progress aligned with course completion expectations.

Middle School is an important transition in a child’s education. Here at PA Cyber, students develop independence as learners to help carry them through high school and beyond.
